985 ÐßÐßÊÓÆµhigh school students designated for $15,000 UA Scholars Award
October 14, 2024 - The newest cohort of students from nearly 250 high schools across ÐßÐßÊÓÆµhas been identified as this year's class of UA Scholars, qualifying each of them for a $15,000 scholarship to use at any University of ÐßÐßÊÓÆµcampus. Anchorage, ÐßÐßÊÓÆµâ€“ July 11, 2024 – The University of ÐßÐßÊÓÆµis pleased to announce that the UA Scholars Award will be increased from $12,000 to $15,000, effective Fall 2024. This significant enhancement marks the first major increase in the Award amount since 2015, reflecting the University's commitment to supporting academic excellence and making higher education more accessible for Alaskan students. October 31, 2023 - Top-ranking high school seniors from nearly 225 high schools across ÐßÐßÊÓÆµhave been invited to join the University of Alaska’s 25th class of UA Scholars, qualifying each of them for a $12,000 scholarship. In order to be eligible for this prestigious award, students must be ranked within the top ten percent of their class. As of October 23, 923 students have been identified for the honor.
